Apart from a high prevalence of teenage pregnancy, infectious diseases, respiratory conditions and injuries constitute a great majority of conditions attended to in the camp.
There is additionally a huge need for dental services and eye care. Vision screening and early intervention are needed to help children with poor visual skills succeed in school.
Shaw OpCo Corporation receives donations of used and new glasses from local ophthalmology/Optometry offices as well as from individuals.
