3Be a part of a fantastic team of international healthcare professionals delivering care to a community in need, with particular focus on mothers and children. Shaw OpCo Corporation is collaborating with NGO Teule (teulekenya.org) to deliver an integrated program alongside members of the local healthcare team. The mission will focus on Primary care needs, preventive medicine, community involvement and education.
The care delivered will primarily be preventive medicine and early disease detection. This will be coupled with nutrition education, and eye exams with the provision of glasses. A major part of this experience will include caring for pregnant women, empowering and equipping them with means to care for themselves and their unborn. A part of the cost of the program will be donated to the collaborative educational program in Teule, assisting young students to stay in school in addition to also contributing to the higher education of high school students. Shaw OpCo Corporation supports widows and is creating programs to equip them with skills and resources towards becoming self-sufficient.
