Judi Shaw, MD.
President interim

Dr. Judi Shaw MD, FACP, MMM, CPE, CHCQM is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical office experience and over 10 years of Executive medical management experience in utilization management, process improvement and quality control.

Dr. Shaw received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She became a Certified Physician Executive through The American Association for Physician Leadership, then later completed her Masters in Medical Management at Carnegie Melon - Heinz College of Information Systems & Public Policy. Dr. Shaw is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Shaw believes that "to whom much is given, much is expected". After years of delivering care in the traditional bureaucratic atmosphere, the calling to step outside her comfort zone and extend a helping hand was too loud to ignore. She has always believed that health starts locally and wellness is personal. The drive to improve the health and wellbeing of those disenfranchised and less fortunate became a purpose and driving force for change. This vision was the foundation of the Shaw OpCo Corporation.

Dr. Shaw has served on the boards of The Houston Museum of Natural Science, Harris County Medical Society, Physicians Organization of Women and of a prior organization she founded Together Erasing Autism/Tre' Rice Endowment Foundation.

Xiaoman Pang, Attn.
Secretary

Xiaoman was born in China, and grew up in France. She graduated from the University of Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne, in international commercial law and in private law.

Xiaoman has been practicing as an attorney for over 25 years. She is a partner in a French law firm where she specialises in private equity transactions (mergers and acquisitions, LBO, venture capital, financing of acquisition) and advises investment funds and international corporations as well as individuals, in particular Chinese clients, in their investments in France, including business setup, equity and assets acquisitions and real estate projects.

Being fluent in English, French and Chinese, and possessing a multi-cultural profile, I bring to my clients both cultural and legal expertise. I strive to place the human being at the centre of each transaction, taking into account their aspirations and constraints, in order to provide practical and sustainable solutions.

I have had the chance to live in, and travel between, China, France and the US, three countries with very different health systems and approaches to healthcare. Two commonalities though: well-being is a common aspiration, and less fortunate populations suffer more from health issues.

I strongly believe in the importance of preventive healthcare programs and health literacy to improve the conditions of the poorer.

I am honoured to be part of the board of Shaw OpCo Corporation, and to contribute to the success of its mission programs and medical community building collaborative efforts.

Carolyn Barone

I am presently employed by the Surrey School District, in BC, Canada and have been with them for the past 11 years. I have worked in an inner city school for the past ten years, helping children who have mental health, cognitive and behaviour challenges.

I am just finishing up my Masters in Art Therapy, with a focus in working with children and young Adults suffering from trauma and addiction.

I have served on many boards over the years, ranging from athletic associations and art societies to recovery homes. My most recent position was being an executive board member of The Launching Pad Addiction Rehabilitation Society. It is my personal belief that in order to help children overcome the many (adverse childhood experiences) ACEs that they may have experienced we must provide them with the tools necessary to work through their traumas, and help them by offering various forms of therapy, specific education catering to their needs and play. I believe that both my experiences and personal beliefs would bring additional benefits to what is already a great program.
